Meet Lucio: Frem’s Master Craftsman for 18 Years!

Interview with Lucio,  Celebrating 18 Years of Excellence at Frem Group

Interviewer: Lucio, it’s wonderful to have this opportunity to learn more about your journey. You’ve been with Frem Group for 18 years—a remarkable milestone. Can you share how it all began?

Lucio: Thank you! My journey started shortly after I arrived in the UK from Naples. At first, I was helping with cleaning and general tasks. I didn’t have much experience, so I spent the first two years learning from others and building my skills. Over time, I began to take on more responsibility, from assisting with projects to crafting and installing custom furniture.

Interviewer: That’s such a great progression. What inspired you to focus on craftsmanship and design?

Lucio: Design has always been my passion. I studied interior design in Italy and later continued my training in the UK, gaining qualifications in CAD as well. For me, it’s all about creating something unique and meaningful. I enjoy taking a project from concept to completion and ensuring the final product exceeds the client’s expectations.

Interviewer: What’s your favourite part of the process?

Lucio: Seeing the finished product. When I finish a job, I always ensure it’s done to the highest standard. I treat every project as if it were for my own home. It’s important to me that it’s not just complete but perfect.

Interviewer: How have you seen your role evolve over the years?

Lucio: Over the years, I’ve embraced new technologies like the CNC cutter, which has made crafting more efficient. It’s been fascinating to see how the industry has changed, but I always strive to balance modern techniques with traditional craftsmanship. Every project is an opportunity to learn and grow.

Interviewer: You’ve described Frem Group as more than just a workplace. Can you elaborate on that?

Lucio: Absolutely. Frem has been like a second family to me. I spend so much time here, and it’s not just about the work—it’s about the relationships and the sense of camaraderie. I have great respect for the team, and we’ve built a supportive environment over the years.

Interviewer: What keeps you motivated after 18 years?

Lucio: I love what I do. It’s not just a job for me—it’s a passion. Creating bespoke pieces, solving challenges, and constantly improving are what drive me. And, of course, the satisfaction of knowing our work leaves a lasting impression on our clients.

Interviewer: Speaking of clients, do you get direct feedback on your work?

Lucio Not directly, as I’m usually focused on the crafting and installation side. But I take pride in knowing that our clients are happy with the finished product. I always leave a job feeling proud of the work we’ve done.

Interviewer: Lastly, what’s next for you?

Lucio: I’d like to continue taking on bespoke projects and learning new techniques. The market moves fast, but there’s always room to innovate and improve. My goal is to keep growing while staying true to the craftsmanship that defines Frem.

Interviewer: Thank you, Lucio, for sharing your inspiring journey. Your dedication and passion truly embody Frem’s values.
